Loved everything about Liz’s lodge. The lodge looked amazing from outside, set in the forest, inside did not disappoint either, plenty of room for our family plus Rosie the dog. A special place to spend our summer holiday with our young ones. It was so clean, everything you needed was there to use, all cleaning stuff, wipes, shower products, everything in the kitchen to make life easy. You really only needed to take your food, drink and clothes. Would highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful week in the magical location of Liz’s Lodge. The accommodation was spacious, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We loved our early morning walks in the woods and drinks and BBQ on balcony. Our cockapoo spent the week beside himself with excitement! There is also lots to do in the surrounding area. We left so relaxed we are looking forward to coming again!

We had a wonderful time in Norfolk and Liz's Lodge was definitely the icing on the cake. The lodge was beautiful both inside and out and so very clean. There was a welcome box of goodies which was very thoughtful, and very much enjoyed, yum yum.!Whichever way you looked out of the lodge the view was just gorgeous. It was a perfect place to stay as all the places we wanted to visit was only a short drive away, which is very handy when you have young children with you. They enjoyed Bewilderwood, Roar dinosaur 🦕 Park,Amazona zoo, Wells beach, Redwings horse sanctuary and Hillside which is a horse and animal sanctuary. We booked through Big Skies Holiday Cottages which we were extremely pleased with and have booked another week at Liz's Lodge next year through the same company. One very happy family thank you all xx

Our second visit to Liz’s Lodge! Fabulous property with all mod cons in a beautiful wooded setting. Couldn’t have been better for us and our dog! Close to wonderful beaches and the North Norfolk countryside. Great customer service from Big Skies who are super friendly. Can’t wait to go back!’

Great, well appointed lodge in fabulous pine forest setting. Wonderful dog walks right off doorstep and a really good location to explore the Norfolk coastline and various coffee shops, pubs and restaurants - from Wells Next the Sea to Cromer - which are all within half an hour’s drive. Loved it!!

A fantastic property set in a magnificent location. The property was spotlessly clean, everything about the accommodation was perfect. The beds were all very comfortable, everyone slept well. In the kitchen there was everything that you could wish for, not the usual basics only. The location in the forest meant that it wasn’t unusual to find dear walking around the property. The coast is just a very short drive away, as are multiple other attractions - plenty to do for all. Thoroughly recommended.

A beautiful lodge, well equipped and very clean. We felt very comfortable and relaxed there. Our only challenge was the lack of mobile signal but that seemed to be a challenge widely in the north Norfolk area; thankfully the location and local amenities were more than enough to keep the kids away from their devices!

The lodge was absolutely incredible. Spotlessly clean and all the amenities you need for a week away. Very spacious and well designed. We enjoyed bbq on the terrace every night. The views and surrounding forest are so beautiful. The lodge would be perfect for any season and we hope to be back soon. Host was very responsive and helped us locate the lodge in a helpful and cheerful manner. We look forward to returning.

Liz lodge is better than the pictures you won’t be disappointed, the lodge was immaculately clean and everything was there you could possibly need. The location is lovely and quiet we loved watching the early sunrises and our boys loved exploring the woods. We visited the muckelburgh collection, Sheringham & Amazona zoo at Cromer, definitely recommend if you have time.

We regularly rent holiday cottages across the UK. As we acquired a dog this year, the available ‘pool’ of properties that met our needs to take the dog, diminished significantly. We love Norfolk as it is only two hours from home. We found Liz’s Lodge via the Big Skies website and grabbed it quickly for our first ever New Year Break. The excellent photographs on the website were actually outdone by the physical property. It was exceptionally clean, superbly equipped with high end fittings and the owners had thought of options for nearly every catering scenario with the kitchen fit out and equipment. We have only ever returned to a property once before, in 30 years. We re-booked this one the second night we were there!.

Our second time visiting Liz Lodge, absolutely beautiful place surrounded by forest and ideal for privacy. We stayed there in Jan 23 and even though it was cold out, the lodge was very warm and cosy. We took our 2 miniature dachshunds who also love going there. It’s a perfect place for rest and relaxation and we did several long forest walks down towards the beach. You are about a 10 min drive from Sheringham and 5 mins from Holt. There are no immediate amenities like shops near buy so you will need to get some essentials from holt or Sheringham.

We loved our stay at the lodge. Communication was great from the beginning and was super responsive throughout our stay. We had everything we needed to cook different meals. The lodge is cozy and relaxing in the middle of the forest and great for day walks to the coast up to Sheringham. A perfect long weekend from London. Thank you.
