The Property

"No. 27" is a stunning Grade II listed property situated in the heart of the Georgian market town of Holt. The property dates back to the 18th Century and has recently undergone a complete programme of refurbishment and renovation to create a luxurious three bedroom home with off street parking and a courtyard garden. The house has been beautifully styled by a highly regarded local interior designer and the quality of finishings and furnishings are exemplary throughout.

The cottage features a fantastic open plan sitting / dining room, which creates a sociable, yet cosy space to relax and enjoy time together. There is a wood burning stove to warm cold toes in the winter and outside is a courtyard garden area to enjoy al fresco dining in the summer months. There is even a home office, should you have to do a bit of work whilst you are away.

The kitchen is hand crafted in bleached pine and with the pantry off, provides the perfect place to rustle up some breakfast or prepare a delicious dinner, if you are not dining out in Holt or on the coast.

Upstairs there are three double bedrooms arranged off the hallway. The principal bedroom has a beautiful en suite bathroom with both a freestanding bath and large walk-in shower. The other two bedrooms are both a great size and share a stunning family shower room.

Outside

Approached through double gates off the street, there is a gravelled area for parking one car (further parking is available two minutes away at the long stay car park) and a charming courtyard garden area with a pergola to provide shade in the summer.

Fabulous house, living and kitchen areas excellent. Bedrooms are beautiful as are bathrooms ( just need more water pressure for the showers 😉) . Location is excellent can easily reach all local areas by car then have a nice walk on the high st right outside the door . Our stay was perfect - also great little patio area which was good to dry off our dogs.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb in the heart of Holt! The property was spotless—scrupulously clean, tidy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need. Every detail had been carefully considered, making our stay effortless and enjoyable. Although it was just the two of us, the property is perfectly suited for up to six guests, with huge, incredibly comfortable beds and outstanding bathrooms that felt luxurious. The location was unbeatable—right in the center of Holt, with everything within easy walking (or staggering!) distance. The town was beautifully decked out for Christmas, creating a magical atmosphere. The sense of community was palpable, with everyone working together to make the season special. We tried several local restaurants, all offering food of a good to high standard, but for those wanting to stay in, the nearby butchers and bakers made it easy to whip up a delicious meal. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back.

Beautifully appointed property in the centre of Holt. Great location with food and drink options literally right outside the door. Welcoming, spacious and comfortable interior…. and some lovely goodies on arrival to welcome us. Hetti was extremely responsive and proactive in her communications and kindly accommodated a date change. A lovely stay. Thank you!

We had a wonderful family stay in Holt. Number 27 is near so many fabulous shops, cafes and pubs. The house had plenty space for our family, 3 adult couples. Roomy bedrooms, comfortable sofas, beds were excellent. Feather duvets and pillows. Bath tubs and showers were huge. Thank you so much for the bubbly, and gifts on the dining table as we arrived. We always choose open plan when going away with our adult children, this house did not disappoint. Such a sociable downstairs area, the modern woodburner was a great addition in Feb. Lots of games available with a variety of books also. Our 6'7" family member was fine with the head space in the house. Our dog could not escape the fully enclosed courtyard. Very good choice of appliances in the kitchen pantry. Blenders/cocktail makers to name a few and a separate wine cooling fridge. They have paid attention to detail with sockets/usb style included. WIFI was good. No issues. So much to see around North Norfolk, minutes from the coast and lots of walks. Parking for one car within the property as stated. The nearest car park just 2 mins walk away is Albert Street. Same price as others in the town. We popped a car in there for the week, good value at £34 for a 7 day permit. Sunday parking in town is free. We highly recommend number 27 and would definitely stay again, the Big Skies Cottages were available for any questions during our booking, couldn't fault their local knowledge and service.

We will absolutely be returning to this wonderful property - for the comfort of the beds, bedding and darkness of the bedrooms alone! Had the most restful holiday ever and it was impeccably clean throughout. Just brilliant from start to finish

Well we are back from our trip to Norfolk . . and what an absolutely lovely discovery No 27 Bull Street in Holt was for us. The property is amazing, large and spacious and competed to a very Hi speck. You have your own private gates and behind them find enough space to park your car and then a lovely outdoor seating area with lots of flowering plants to relax in on your return to the property after a days travels out and about. Everything you need for a luxurious stay you find inside the house including 2 large bedrooms and a larger master, 2 large Bath and shower rooms and down stairs is a large office space should you need to work while being away. The extra detail is very impressive as the owners have tried to think of everything to make your stay as lovely as possible. Holt is a lovely town full of great shops and places to eat out with Cromer and Sherringham not far away from you. We have been visiting the town for a number of years but finding 27 Bull Street was a real revelation and it is also dog Friendly. Our 12 year old dog Daissi loved her stay very much. The Ladies at Big Skys in Holt were excellent and couldn't do enough to help with anything we needed help with. We did actually pay them a visit while we were they're to thank them for everything it was nice to put a face to a name. We shall definately be rebooking another visit again very soon. Thankyou Big Skys for everything xx
