The Property

This Stylishly restored old chapel has a luxurious modern contemporary feel. Resulting in a fabulous holiday home for 2-4 people.

The open plan living space is flooded with natural light from the double height arched chapel windows to the rear and the large windows to the front. The perfect space to cook, eat, relax and be together. The sense of space and light is carried through up the stairs to the galleried landing which looks down to the living space.

Upstairs off the galleried landing, is one double bedroom with en suite shower room and window out to the front of the cottage. There is a lovely landing area outside this bedroom with comfy seating to relax or curl up with a book. The second bedroom is found downstairs from the living area, a very stylish subterranean room with a shower room off and the added luxury of natural light from two small arched windows to the side of the chapel.

Outside

Outside to the front is a pretty courtyard garden with a table and chairs, to enjoy coffee in the morning or a summer supper. Parking for the Old Chapel is on the quiet village road to the front of the property.

Situated in the quiet village of Syderstone that boasts its own common and nature reserve, ( Norfolk wildlife trust) 2 minutes walk from the front door. This is a perfect place to stay in the heart of a sleepy village close to Burnham Market and within a 12 minute drive from The north Norfolk coast including Brancaster and Holkham beaches.

Perfect for us, two couples. 2 bedrooms with en-suites. Both so different but equally good. Plenty of room for us. Very clean and tidy. Great communication with the host. Ideal for our weekend away.

We have just had a lovely week at The Old Chapel which is in a great location for exploring this beautiful part of Norfolk. We visited Sandringham, Flebrigg Hall & Blicking Estate, Norwich Cathedral and lovely coastal towns like Wells where we had a beach walk. In Brancaster we had amazing crab, prawn and crayfish roll at the Crab Hut in the harbour.

A fabulous cottage for four! Loved all the little details kept from the conversion. We have been visiting family, this time used very much as a base. We will be back!We can highly recommend the Suana Box in Sheringham, a horsebox conversion on the prom. Try it! Thank you for a fabulous place to stay.

Just a very nice well appointed property, within striking distance of lots of activities and places to visit. Tastefully decorated and furnished throughout. Cannot recommend this property and the owners/ letting agents enough.

An amazing stay in a house that had everything we needed. Great location to explore North Norfolk - despite the rain!Great space to do some unavoidable A-level work for Alice while I took advantage of the reading chair on the landing.

We had a very comfortable stay in this very special reconstructed old chapel - a calm, peaceful and relaxed feel to it and a blessing to have found it! Spending time here was an enjoyable and relaxing way to end and start our days in Norfolk. I would happily return.

The old chapel, was lovely and spotless, the bedrooms with ensuite were perfect and very comfortable. It was a shame that there was no pub in walking distance as it would of helped to occupy the evening. I would definitely recommend this place as in the day we visited national trust, Cromer, and kings Lynn

Such a beautiful old chapel to stay in for a few days. We felt very at home and really enjoyed our time here. Perfect location for trips to various different beaches and lovely surroundings for playing games when it was too rainy for a day trip. What a great trip!

A really cosy and comfortable place to stay! Located in a quaint village that let us disconnect from our busy day-to-day lives. The chapel is close to some really interesting places to visit - we went to Burnham Market for food, drink, shops etc and strolled along Holkham beach. A characterful property with great hosts. Thanks!

The Old Chapel was a great stay Everywhere was spotlessly clean and pristine! Large space with natural light, was very cozy at the same time We stayed as two couples and was a great stay for a weekend relaxing! Got such quick response from Vernon, we ran out of toilet paper and he was straight over, so very attentive Only downside, no fault of the owners, was the bad Wi-Fi and phone signal, would recommend downloading films etc if you are planning on having nights in! Thanks so much :)
