The Cottage

The Tap Room is an immaculately presented one bedroom cottage in the heart of the super popular village of Blakeney. Originally the tap room of a pub, this cute conversion is annexed to the main house, with it's own private entrance, private courtyard outside space and parking on the shared drive.

This grown-ups only hideaway is perfect for couples or those seeking a bit of 'me' time. The spacious open plan living space is cleverly thought out to offer comfortable seating for two in front of the cosy wood burner, a dining space and kitchenette comprising of a sink, microwave, kettle and under counter fridge (with a freezer compartment, perfect for ice to pop into a G&T). There are patio doors leading to the chic little courtyard outside.

The bedroom has a king size bed and window looking out to the front and an ensuite shower room with a mains pressure shower, WC and wash hand basin.

Every detail has been considered for guests at The Tap Room and whilst the kitchenette does not have a hob or traditional oven, there is everything you need to prepare tasty breakfasts and snacks and all the pubs, cafes and restaurants of Blakeney are just a short stroll away.

Outside

Approached from the top of the High Street, The Tap Room has allocated parking on the large gravelled driveway shared with the main house.

There is a private, gated entrance to The Tap Room, with space to store bikes and a wall mounted hook to lock them for added security.

Accessed from the main living area, through patio doors is a charming outside courtyard area with a table and two chairs. Perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an aperitif before heading out for supper.

Location

The Tap Room is located at the top of the High Street in the centre of Blakeney, ideally located to enjoy all that this super popular village has to offer. Just a short stroll down the picturesque street, passed the charming village deli, brings you to the quayside with its collection of boats moored, children crabbing off the side and in the summer hoots from the brave souls mud-sliding on the opposite bank.

There are numerous lovely places to eat and drink in Blakeney, all within easy walking distance of The Tap Room. You can choose from cosy pubs, smart restaurants, cafes, bistros and bakeries.

For those essential supplies and tasty nibbles you can visit the deli on the High Street or the fantastic village stores on Westgate Street.

There are a number of charming independent shops and galleries to satisfy the retail therapy urge and direct access to fabulous walks along the coastal path in both directions and out to the famous Blakeney Point. If you fancy a spot of seal watching you can buy your tickets on the quay for a boat trip out to the seal colonies at the point.

Blakeney is ideally located to explore all that the North Norfolk coastline has to offer, with the lovely Georgian market town of Hotl just a few miles inland and pretty coastal villages of Cley-next-the-Sea, Salthouse & Weybourne to explore to the East on the way to Sheringham. To the West along the coast road to Wells-next-the-Sea is Morston and Stiffkey.
