A 4 mile stretch of shingle and sand dunes, designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Blakeney Point is also a Nature Reserve managed by the National Trust.
There are two ways to visit, either by land or water. If walking, it takes approximately 3 hours (7 miles) from Cley Beach to Blakeney Point.
If walking is not your thing and you would rather take the opportunity to see the famous seal colony. There are boat trips from Morston quay. Book tickets with either Temples or Beans Seal Trips at Blakeney harbour. Over 2,500 seal pups are born annually making them a must see for anyone visiting the coast.
Set back in the dunes lies the iconic old blue wooden life boat house, originally built in 1898, it is now home to the National Trust Visitor Centre.
