Brancaster Beach offers miles of golden sand as far as the eye can see for you to walk on, relax on and build sandcastles. Popular with families throughout the year, it is a bucket list beach but you do have to be careful with the tides here due to the hidden sand banks.
The beach was also well known for the ship wreck, which if you were careful and timed the tides well you could walk out to it but unfortunately the ship wreck has now been swept away and is no longer visible.
Scolt Head can be spotted in the distance, if you take a walk to the east along the beach. This is another of Norfolk’s Nature Reserves, jointly owned by The National Trust and the Norfolk Wildlife Trust.
