Wells-next-the-Sea beach is famous for its vast, sweeping sands and colourful beach huts. Perfect for walking the dogs, flying a kite, building sandcastles and paddling in the shallow sea.
The beach is located approximately one mile from the town, and you can walk there along a raised path with wonderful views over the marshes or drive and park at the Beach Road car park. Wells-next-the-Sea beach boasts a fabulous beach cafe located at the car park. Both cafe and car park are owned and managed by nearby Holkham Estate.
There is a fantastic path which runs behind the pine woods that border the beach, which you can follow all the way to Holkham. Equally, you can dip back to the beach and walk along the sand.
