Choosing Norfolk for your 2023 wedding?
Norfolk is such a diverse county and we see lots of couples choosing Norfolk as a wedding destination, escaping with their family and friends to make their wedding an extended event. As we move into the New Year, a lot of venues host wedding fairs giving you the opportunity to explore everything the local services and artisan businesses have to offer. We love the variety of wedding venues here in Norfolk so we have put together a selection for you, including some wedding fairs you may enjoy. Don’t forget we can help you with your accommodation whilst you explore venues and also for you and your guests for your wedding day.

Wedding Fairs
The Eco Wellington Wood Norfolk Wedding Show – 16th April 2023 11am -3pm
The ECO Wedding Show (formerly The Ethical Wedding Show) is thrilled to be returning to Norfolk this Spring at the fabulous Wellington Wood on Sunday April 16th 2023. It is a show for eco, ethically-minded couples who love the planet as well as each other. Situated in wildflower meadows and tipis– this show is for you if you want a rural and relaxed outdoor vibe! Every supplier has been handpicked for The ECO Wedding Show, not just for their gorgeous product and impeccable service, but because they care about the planet. All suppliers meet at least 3 of our 5 following criteria: They have worked hard to reduce their plastic use before, during, and after your wedding. They have introduced vegan versions to give more choice, and because they care. They have been clever with recycling or up-cycling in their designs as well as after your wedding. They source locally to keep their carbon footprint low and embrace pre-loved or vintage. But this doesn’t mean quality has dropped. Neither does it mean they don’t deliver the creative luxe weddings we are known for here at Magpie Wedding. It means that they share our Magpie Wedding ethos of promoting Ethical, Creative and Offbeat weddings (hence they’re the ECO shows!) Doors will open at 11am and close at 3pm, with a packed day of talks, workshops, fashion shows and lots of exciting suppliers, as well as the opportunity to grab a delicious bite to eat, relax in the beautiful surroundings and really enjoy your wedding planning process.
The Octagon Barn Wedding Show 29th January 2023 11am – 3pm
The Octagon Barn is unique and the only building of its type, unchanged from its original design. Built around the late 1600’s to the early 1700’s as a non-conformist Methodist meeting chapel the original 8 side shape sits under a magnificent open vaulted octagon roof, to give a grand central atrium. The Octagon now provides a great open space to hold your wedding or celebration. FREE ENTRY Pre-register on the website and come to the wedding show @ www.theeventcoea.co.uk
