4 – 8 & 11- 15 Nov
Norfolk’s largest dining event returns for 2024! Easily two of my favourite weeks of the year! It’s a fab opportunity to get together with friends, family and colleagues over some wonderful food and celebrate Norfolk’s culinary scene and those behind it.
Many of the pubs and restaurants around Norfolk are offering some delicious deals so be sure to get involved! Booking is recommended!

Walking Women
Tuesday 5 Nov, 3 Dec, 7 Jan & 4 Feb
Holkham Estate began Walking Women over ten years ago and has enabled lots of like-minded women, both local and holidaymakers, to come together. Over the years, this friendly walking group has forged great friendships and been a lifeline for those new to the area, or living alone.
Whether you’re new to the area, on holiday or living alone, this is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, get some gentle exercise and have a natter!

Seal pup spotting
Late October – January
These adorable creatures are a popular tourist attraction during the breeding season. You can catch a glimpse of them in their natural habitat at Blakeney Point, Horsey, Brancaster and Winterton beaches, but remember keep your dogs on a lead, don’t feed them and don’t get too close! Admire from afar and take in all the cuteness!
You can even catch seal trips from Blakeney Point & Morston Quay!
Holt at Christmas
For me, this beautiful Georgian town being all lit up is the height of Christmas and is truly magical. Despite not having the usual celebration of the Light Switch On, the community is still coming together to make Christmas special!
Fri 15 Nov – The Bakers & Larners Christmas window will be revealed at 9am! Santa will be in-store between 4pm-6pm and children will receive a confectionery treat! More food heaven and lovely stalls over in Bakers Yard!
This year, Chapel Yard is hosting festive markets on Sat 16 & Sun 17 Nov. Takeaway BBQ pork belly rolls and mulled wine courtesy of Michael’s Bistro! Michael’s Bistro is also doing live music with an outside bar in Franklyns Yard.
