The Cottage

The Old Bakehouse is a beautifully renovated period cottage, in the heart of a tranquil village, just a mile from the coast at Blakeney & Morston and walking distance to a renowned gastro-pub. This charming cottage offers luxurious accommodation for up to four guests, with two king size bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fabulous enclosed walled garden and parking. The cottage is fully air conditioned and features TVs in both bedrooms with Sky mini boxes, dressing gowns for guests, Egyptian cotton sheets, goose down duvets and top quality mattresses.

On entering the cottage, you are welcomed into an oasis of calm. The cosy sitting room is decorated with a palette of warm neutral shades with a comfy sofa and arm chairs, large wall mounted Smart TV, French doors out to the garden and leading into the kitchen diner. The modern fitted kitchen is well equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine and everything you could need to rustle up a delicious supper; with a dining table and four stools a window looking out to the garden beyond. There is even a pantry with a further under counter fridge.

Tucked behind the kitchen is the downstairs bedroom, with a king size bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers, clothes storage and a Smart TV with Sky Mini Box. Adjacent to this is the shower room, with large walk-in shower, WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.

Upstairs on the mezzanine level is the fabulous principal bedroom suite, with a king size bed, wall hung Smart TV with Sky, funky in-suite bath with shower attachment, wash hand basin and WC. The second bedroom is downstairs, with a further king size bed, Smart TV with Sky and window out to the side of the cottage. Immediately adjacent to this is the shower room, with walk-in shower enclosure, wash hand basin and WC.

Outside

There is private off-road parking to the side of the cottage and a small lawn leading to the front door.

To the rear there is a wonderful enclosed walled garden, with a sunny patio with a large outside sofa and chairs with table, two reclining arm chairs to relax with a book, a BBQ and lovely planting.

Langham is a peaceful village just set back from North Norfolk coastline at Morston and Blakeney, famous for seal trips to Blakaney Point and within a few minutes drive of the destination Georgian market town of Holt with its plethora of independent shops, galleries and the famous food hall at Bakers & Larners.

The Old Bakehouse is perfectly located in the village, just a few steps from the locally renowned gastro-pub The Bluebell, so if cooking seems like too much bother, you can pop across the road for something delicious!

Langham is the perfect location to enjoy all the North Norfolk coast has to offer, just a short drive to the famous bird reserve at Cley, easy access to the Norfolk Coastal Path and close to both the charming seaside towns of Sheringham & Cromer to the East. Passing through the next village of Binham, with it's famous Priory and the wonderful 'Raw Milk' and Parlous cafe are a must on the way to Wells-next-the-Sea and the West side of the coastline, to visit Holkham, Brancaster & Sandringham.

Distance to Beach / Coast : Around 5 mins in the car. There is parking at Morston Quay and Blakeney Quay.
Distance to Shop: 10 mins to Holt or 5 mins to village shop in Binham

Distance to Golf Courses: 20 mins to Sheringham and 30 mins to Cromer golf club
